daddy, what's that in your mouf?

the other night tim was doing bedtime with conor and had just brushed his teeth before going in to settle conor down. conor tugged on tim's chin to open his mouth, saying "daddy, what's in your mouf?" tim opened it and showed that there was nothing, then told conor he had just brushed his teeth. conor replied "daddy, your mouf smells nice!"

mommy, talk to my ear

sometimes when we have something exciting/special to share with conor, we whisper to him about it. not sure why - maybe just to make it sound more special? anyway, recently, i was about to tell him something, and was using an excited "stage whisper" kind of voice, when he stopped me, leaned over, and said "mommy, talk to my ear."
